Crossing Europe

In 2010, in its seventh year of existence, CROSSING EUROPE once again presents outstanding, unconventional and contemporary European auteur cinema with hand-picked documentaries and feature films screened from April 20 to 25, 2010.

From April 20 to 25, 2010, CROSSING EUROPE will present an exciting selection of unconventional and contemporary auteur cinema with roughly 150 hand-picked documentaries and feature films.

The European Panorama and the European Cinema Competition with prize money amounting to Euro 10,000 await festival guests again, along with Tributes and Specials (including the focal point Working Worlds and films from music and youth culture), Night Sight devoted to the European horror genre, the Nightline every evening at the OK Festival Center with unconventional music live acts, and a selection of current filmmaking in Austria.

Again in 2010, the audience will choose the winning film for the ray audience prize. A regional film or video work will be distinguished with the CROSSING EUROPE Award Local Artist with a total value of Euro 6,000.
