The two event locations in Gmunden, the Toscana Congress in modern design and the historic Villa Toscana in classic style, have revolutionised their gastronomic concept.

Thanks to the new operator, Maria Bernkopf, who is taking over Toscana Congress and Villa Toscana on 1 December 2011, congress attendees can now enjoy the typical treats from Lake Traun.

The focus when redesigning the culinary service at the event centre on Lake Traun was placed on regional, down-home cooking. In addition to fish from Lake Traun, venison and chamois dishes from the region are served. Simple, creative cuisine with high-quality ingredients will now be on the menu at congresses, meetings and events in Gmunden. Maria Bernkopf’s new team brings with it extensive experience in the culinary support of events for more than 1,000 people.
