Enjoy the beauty of snow laden forests and frozen mountain brooks and romp around in the Kalkalpen National Park’s woods on snowshoes. Or join the National Park Forester for a memorable tour through Bodinggraben to observe a red deer feeding. Red Deer Feeding Experience (Molln)
Join the National Park Forester for a memorable tour through Bodinggraben to observe a red deer feeding. What’s more, you will learn about the local natural wildlife. Chances are that red deer will make an appearance for feeding. A magical nature experience not easily forgotten...
- Dates: (fixed date) December 22, 2006, 2:00pm. From January 02 through late February 2007, these guided red deer feeding tours can be arranged daily!
- Equipment: Please bring sturdy boots, warm winter gear, a flashlight and binoculars if available.
- Cost: Adult € 10.00/ Child € 6.00/ Family € 20.00

Snowshoe in a Remote Backcountry (Windischgarsten):
Strap on a pair of snowshoes and join a National Park ranger for an outstanding tour of the unspoiled and remote winter backcountry. Learn about the local natural wildlife. Walk into a winter wonderland with no more sounds than the snow crushing beneath your feet. Alight in the clean and crisp air. Take some quiet time listening to nature and absorbing the magnificent scenery, while enjoying uninterrupted panoramic views of Windischgarsten Valley. Gather around the fire and warm yourself up over a cup of hot mulled fruit wine.
- Dates: Saturdays at 1:00pm—January 06, 2ßß7; January 27, 2007; February 10, 2007; February 24, 2007 and March 10, 2007.
- Equipment: Please bring sturdy mountaineering boots, warm winter gear, food & beverages, a headlamp and telescopic/ski poles if available.
- Cost: Adult € 21.00/ Schoolchild € 12.00; snowshoe rentals and a cup of hut mulled wine or fruit punch included.
