Fantastic view of Dachstein Mountain and the World Cultural Heritage Area;
Maximum gradient: 11%; may be used by caravans and buses up to 50 seats – winding! In the winter the panoramic road to the Panorama Nova cross country skiing paradise is cleared; parking spaces are available;

Bad Leonfelden – Via Leone (up to 950m)
To Sternstein Mountain (Gasthof Waldschänke Guesthouse), toll-free; may be used by caravans and buses; no ton limit;

Gosau – Gosausee Road (950m)
6km-long road to one of the world’s most beautiful vantage points: Gosausee – Dachstein (World Cultural Heritage Area); altitude gain of 200m (750m – 950m); toll-free; no parking fee. Serviced huts and guesthouses; from Gosausee Lake you can take the gondola to Zwieselalm Pasture (1,600m); unique hiking area.

Grünau im Almtal – Kasbergalm Road (1,600m)
Kasbergalm Road is closed to all traffic at any time!

Grünau im Almtal – Farrenau Mountain Road (up to 1,200m) *
Toll-road; no toll fees for guests of Hochberghaus Guesthouse; maximum gradient: 12%; may be used by caravans; winding; may be used by buses with up to 60/70 seats; closed in the winter depending on weather conditions.
Rates: 2006: EUR 8. In 2007 the toll fee might be increased to EUR 10 (decision pending).

Hinterstoder – Höss-Panorama Road (600m – 1,400m)
Maximum gradient: 10% - 11%; may be used by caravans and buses; not closed in the winter, except in really bad weather.

Königswiesen – Königswiesen Panorama Road – Harlingsedt (up to 900m)
(Mühlviertel Glockner Road)
This adventurous road is 5km long and covers an altitude gain of 300m. At the top you are at an altitude of 900m and can climb the summit in 10 minutes. From there you have a fantastic view of the Bohemian Forest, Waldviertel Area and Ötscher and Dachstein Mountains. May be used by buses; toll-free;

Kremsmünster – Panorama Road to the "Tree in the Center of the World“ (488m)
Starting point is Kremsmünster: get on the road opposite the UNI market (122 federal road). The vantage point at Gustermairberg Mountain offers a fantastic panoramic view; former surveying point in the times of Empress Maria Theresia.

Obertraun – Loser Panorama Road
14km from Obertraun, 9km long, 15 bends; Dreamlike view of the corn-snow covered top of the Großvenediger Mountain and Altausseer See Lake from the glaciers of Dachstein Mountain. This panoramic road is one of the most attractive excursion destinations in the bizarre Tote Gebirge Nature reserve.

Obertraun – Tauplitzalm Alpine Road (800m – 2,000m)
19km from Obertraun, 10km long; open all year also for large buses; asphalt-covered. This private toll road is one of the most beautiful Alpine roads and connects the Styrian Health Resort of Bad Mitterndorf with the Tauplitzalm Winter Sports Resort.

Perg District Road (Panorama Road)
Starting point is the district town of Perg (250m): after 8km you get to the village of Allerheiligen (568m). Unique view of Sternstein Mountain, St. Thomas am Blasenstein and the mountains near Waldhausen from Lichtenberg Mountain. In the south is the Machland area of the Upper Austrian foothills of the Alps. On clear days the Alpine panorama of the Ötscher Mountain and the mountains of the Salzburg Land area frames the image.

Straß im Attergau – Lichtenberg Road (up to 825m)
3.5km long, bending, leads through the forest all the way, no toll fees; may be used by buses; no ton limit; maximum gradient: 11.5%, parking spaces; starting point for hikes in the summer; popular guesthouse with winter garden; fantastic panoramic view (Traunstein, Höllengebirge mountain range, Totes Gebirge Mountain Range, Großer Priel, Kleiner Priel, Watzmann and more).

Straß im Attergau – Kronberg Road (up to 825m)
3.5km long, 3 switchbacks, no toll fees; may be used by buses; no ton limit; maximum gradient: 11%; car park; church; vantage point with telescope; fantastic panoramic view of Attersee Lake and Höllengebirge Mountain Range; snack station; guesthouses and hotels nearby;

Steinbach am Attersee – Altmünster – Großalm Road (829m)
No toll fees; may be used by caravans and buses, no ton limit;

Unterweißenbach – Unterweißenbach Panorama Road – Hirschalm Fairytale Hunting Park
Coming from Linz along A7 Autobahn you’ll travel via Unterweitersdorf, Pregarten, Tragwein, Bad Zell, and Schönau im Mühlkreis to Unterweißenbach. From there a wonderful panorama road takes you up to the Hirschalm Fairytale Hunting Park in a series of switchbacks. The Park at 900 meters above sea level has wheelchair accessible facilities. An additional two kilometer drive and a ten minute walk will take you to the cross on the summit from where there are uninterrupted panoramic views of Bohemian Forest, Ötscher and Dachstein Mountains and into Waldviertel Region. The Unterweißenbach Panorama Road is toll-free.

Weyregg – Gahberg-Panorama Road (864m)
No toll fees; may be used by caravans and buses; no ton limit; bending; maximum gradient: 12%;
